Birds, birds, birds

The orizuru, or paper crane, is a design that is considered to be the most classic of all Japanese origami. It is a representation of the Japanese red-crowned crane that is referred to as the "Honourable Lord Crane" in Japanese culture. The Japanese culture believed that its wings carried souls up to paradise.

This is the origami killer figure that appears on the game Heavy Rain for PS3 and PS4.

(from my inktober drawings of 2017, I was following tumblr user ochibrochi's prompts.) Putting magic into the paper as you fold sounds cool at first, until you make one too many things with wings and they all fly around you… Well she may not have magic that helps people, or something that’s super showy. But her magical flying paper is still pretty cool.
