This is Levi, three weeks old. The hands belong to his five big brothers: Jacob (18), Joshua (16), Johnny (13), Hudson (6) and Reilly (3). It is the cutest thing to have your teenage boys argue over whose turn it is to hold the baby... that's when they can get him away from ME, not to mention his big sisters who are always asking for a turn, too. Sometimes they let his Dad hold him, too... I have an old wooden table that was painted white in the far distant past, now it peels charmingly and is worn and weathered. I only wish it really had these doodles of mine all over it, that would be great. This is my digital imagining of how it might look. : )

I've been working on this pattern for the last few days, a simple floral in warm pinks, purples and magenta. I like irises, they're so floppy and delicate and yet sculptural and structured at the same time. This is one of two colorways.

There is wisteria growing in great profusion at the back of my garden behind some outbuildings... for some reason I have never photographed it. Out of sight, out of mind, I guess. But it is so lovely right now! This is my 34th pic for my 52 week challenge.

Had a lot of fun with this, messing around with colours and patterns (as usual.)
