Patterns 3 - Pipe Cleaners

Still playing around on photoshop with a photograph I took of some pipe cleaners. Such fun!

Leaves 14 is a monoprint created using a gelli plate and acrylic and printing inks. It has then been drawn over using black and white inks.

The background has been made transparent so as to enable t shirt colours (other than black) to show through if a colour other than white is preferred.

Just a small watercolour undertaken with a limited palette.

Made using some scans of vintage wood type letters and ink block textures.

The mix media design was created with a colored pencil and painted drawing and a frame created with torn book pages. Instead of throwing the pages away they were used to create a new design.

Swirls is a digitally altered photograph that I took.

I couldn't resist digitally playing around with my original watercolour painting titled "Blooming" to see if I could completely change the look of it and create a colourful pattern. This is one of the results.

I've been making some solar prints using keys and I was struck by how interesting the keys looked after they had just been inked before actually becoming a solar print, so I decided to take a photograph of the process and when I saw it I really liked it, hope you do too.

This started its life as a monoprint called The Diver's View. I was doing a little bit of dabbling on photoshop and feeling I need some COLOUR!!!! This is the result - my little red bubble on Redbubble and there is nothing subtle or tonal about it. If you want to stand out in the crowd then I reckon this will do the trick! Seeing that bath mat and shower curtain in the morning will be enough to wake anybody up.

Decided to mess around with my Black and White drawing Art about Art so I coloured it in digitally and tried to keep the rough look by leaving some bits of white in the colour here and there, same as is in the black lines. Won't win any art prizes methinks, but should look OK on an apron one would do art in! Other products with this design are also available at Heatherian on Society6.

Hand drawn, digitally re-coloured. Some of the products have a white back oval, some no oval and some I have done with transparency.

For the original of this print please see Flower in Black Square (Original Colour Print). I have recently done a series of hand pulled gelli prints onto fabric instead of paper using acrylic paints. I like the textured effect the fabric gives to the print. Although I like the original print, I recognize people have different colour preferences and so I have digitally altered the original print so as to offer a choice of colors to my customers, in this case more subdued autumn tonings.

This was made using coloured inks on synethetic yupo paper.

This is a section of a larger painting, but I rather liked it and thought it might look good on some of the homeware products.

This is my Tangled Collage 4 - Collaged Monoprint with Tangling which has been edited to remove the white background in order to allow background colours to show through. Whilst I cannot edit the colour choices on t shirts I can edit the background colours on many other items.
