Red Roses Hoodies
Description: The Lancaster Red Roses baseball team, originally known as the Maroons, changed its name at the start of the 1906 season during a bitter match with the York, Pennsylvania-based White Roses. Some sources indicate that the rival teams were named for the opposing factions in England's historic Wars of the Roses. The Lancaster Red Roses played at Stumpf Field in Manheim Township, Pennsylvania, which is still used today by local baseball and softball leagues.
Description: Red Roses: Roses Are Red… — A surreal image depicts a woman seated on a chair amidst a cloudy expanse, their head replaced by a vibrant bouquet of tightly bound red roses. The roses, striking yet constricting, symbolize a dominant ideology that appears beautiful but harbors thorns of division and control. The figure’s posture is subdued, their individuality veiled beneath the weight of conformity. The surrounding clouds evoke uncertainty, turbulence, and a yearning for clarity. It reflects the tension within a culture wrestling with dominance, exclusion, and the hope for unity beyond imposed barriers
Description: This beautiful yin yang design by artist Jeff Bartels features two stylized tribal roses. Intricate swirls and lines decorate both sides of this traditional symbol creating a delicate pattern. The two flowers flow from the bottom of the teardrop on either side with leaves growing from the stems. This unique floral pattern is a striking example of this ancient symbol for the balance of nature.
