This image was taken facing the entrance/exit of the courtyard of the Ming Tombs. A bit of history about these tombs was given in the previous image titled "Welcome To The Ming Tombs". At present, only three tombs are open to the public. The Ming Tombs were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in August 2003. The Ming tombs are a collection of mausoleums built by the Chinese Ming dynasty emperors. The majority of the Ming tombs are located in a cluster near Beijing and collectively known as the Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty. However, the first Ming emperor's tomb is located near the City of Nanjing. This site is located on the southern slopes of Tianshou Mountain, and was chosen based on the principles of Feng Shui by the third Ming dynasty emperor. After the construction of the Imperial Palace (known today as the Forbidden City) in 1420, the Yongle Emperor selected his burial site and created his own mausoleum. Gondolas 8-11 is a black and white photographic art print of gondolas on a ferris wheel. The ferris wheel is the Seattle Great Wheel which opened in June of 2012 and is located at the very end of one of the many piers that dot the Seattle waterfront in the downtown area. The wheel has 42 fully enclosed gondolas with a special VIP gondola sporting leather bucket seats and a glass bottom floor. Mount Lebanon Chapel and Cemetery, also known as Lebanon Chapel, is a historic Episcopal chapel and cemetery located on SR 1411 in Wrightsville Beach, New Hanover County, North Carolina. The chapel was completed in 1835. The land was part of a 320-acre tract known as "Mount Lebanon", named for the surrounding cedar trees that recalled the Biblical "Cedars of Lebanon". The chapel is a one-story, three bay by three bay, gable-roofed, rectangular building in a vernacular Greco-Gothic. It measures 26 feet wide and 37 feet deep, and is sheathed in weatherboard. Rossio Railway Station is located in Rossio square in the central urban area and the heart of Lisbon, Portugal. The station was formerly known as Estação Central (Central Station) and that designation still appears in its façade. Trains gain access to the station through a tunnel which is over 2.9 km (1.8 mi) long. St. Paul's Episcopal Church is the oldest church in Key West. It held its first service in 1832. The church was destroyed several times by both hurricanes and fires, but the current structure has weathered the elements since 1919.
