No Worries

A very colorful graphic image of a curious Tawny Owl on a perch becomes the unique ingredient for a pattern with alternating scaled versions . An original photograph of the owl taken at a local rescue centre has been abstracted through a series of computerized treatments to result in a very individual stylized primary colored illustrative portrait. The owl's puzzled expression asks: "How did I get here?". A generous donation will be made to the Owl Rescue Charity for each sale of this design.

This piece is called "Best Seats In The House' and was created on November 25th, 2019. It dipicts two friends enjoying a breath taking view.

There is a cover song of Weezer's 'Island in the Sun' sung by a girl named Rin (you can find the song on Soundcloud or Youtube its great). The cover has a different tone than the original and I really liked her take on it. I was reminded of when I was traveling around the Costa Brava meeting wonderful people; just with my old soccer bag and a longing for adventure. From Rin's cover I was inspired to make this digital painting. I put in my childhood nostalgia for the green ranger from Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, my backpacking days in Spain, and my mysticism of wolves. I also put in a who I imagined Rin would be, however how she looks like pales in comparison to my creation.
