Tosa Hoodies
Description: Also known as the Japanese Mastiff, the Tosa is a strong, tough, fearless guard dog crafted in Japan during the 19th century. These dogs were created by breeding local Shikoku-ken breeds with powerful foreign dogs like Great Danes and English Mastiffs. During WWII, food scarcity and post-war economic struggles this breed to near extinction, but surviving members were sent north to regions like Hokkaido and Aoimori where the bloodline could rebuild into the stable population we see today.
