Highland Cattle are a Scottish cattle breed. They are adapted to the cold weather and stay outside throughout the year. We have been raising these fluffy cows since 2007 on our farm in Finland.

William Butler Yeats (13 June 1865 – 28 January 1939) was an Irish poet and one of the foremost figures of 20th-century literature. A pillar of both the Irish and British literary establishments, he helped to found the Abbey Theatre, and in his later years served as a Senator of the Irish Free State for two terms. Yeats was a driving force behind the Irish Literary Revival along with Lady Gregory, Edward Martyn and others. He was born in Sandymount, Ireland and educated there and in London. He spent childhood holidays in County Sligo and studied poetry from an early age when he became fascinated by Irish legends and the occult. These topics feature in the first phase of his work, which lasted roughly until the turn of the 20th century...

Oliver Heaviside (1850-1925), British physicist and mathematician. Heaviside's work as a telegraph operator was ended by impaired hearing. Applying mathematics to electric circuits and telegraphy, he formulated the concepts of impedance, conductance and self-inductance. He showed how audio cable signals could be transmitted without distortion, how a telephone line can carry many conversations (multiplexing), and suggested a radio-reflecting layer in the upper atmosphere (the Heaviside layer). James Clerk Maxwell (1831-1879), Scottish physicist. Maxwell's major work was on light and electromagnetic waves. He showed that oscillating charges produced waves in an electromagnetic field, and that these waves had the same velocity as light. This led him to predict other forms of electromagnetic radiation, such as radio waves. He introduced the value 'c' for the speed of light, worked on the motions of molecules in a gas, and showed that Saturn's rings must be composed of numerous particles.
