Home Sweet Home - Climate Change Kids T-Shirt

I wanted to explore what home meant from different perspectives. In this piece I thought about home in a broader sense as being the planet Earth. This is our home collectively as a species, but we also share it with other species. In this piece of digital art I wanted to convey the fragility of our home, but also that there are no boundaries that define different countries, indicating that this is our collective space for all species, and we are responsible for how it will evolve over time as the dominant species. The image of earth was taken during the Apollo 17 mission flying toward the moon on 7 December 1972, and it has been digitally remasted to enhance the beauty of our home planet.
