The Radiance Continues, Bayfield Kids T-Shirt

This artwork, originally captured on film, depicts the aftermath of the Sun setting over Lake Huron. My vantage point is the beach at Bayfield, Ontario. Sunsets are a bit of a spectator sport in Bayfield. All along the cliffs and beaches that overlook the lake, people gather in the hope of seeing something splendid. It's the clouds that can create the spectacle, especially after the Sun has set. Here, the wispy clouds have turned black against the still vibrant sky, and the pier has become silhouetted against that same sky. The slow but ever-changing interplay of the light with the clouds set against the wonderful deep blue to red-orange gradient that is the sky, continues to provides not one image but a progression of awe.
