A-Bomb Man | Japan Kids T-Shirt

The design represents honor, peace, love, and sadness. It serves as a reminder to the world that violence should always be the last resort, but it also shows that through dark actions beautiful things are still possible. The rainbow coloring is used as a symbol of unity, which is to show that as people we should put our differences aside and come to together. The kanji "あ-爆弾 男" on the shirt says "A-Bomb Man." This design was created using three images from my trip to Japan. The man himself is a statue of Kodo Sawaki, the "homeless" Zen monk, found at the Sengakuji Temple, Tokyo, Japan.
