The 1st Doctor and his beautiful Tardis

A stylised homage to the Doctor Who Cybermen face masks through the years as seen from 1966 onwards. This version features the return of the original cloth face from The Tenth Planet mask from William Hartnell's final story which returned in Peter Capaldi’s era World Enough and Time and The Doctor Falls. It is is slightly different shape to the 1966 one.

I have been a fan of Doctor who since the 70s. Over the past few years i have done a series of Paintings from Space and time to pop art splat. This is part of the Pop Art series which is based on the swirl of the time vortex. The original painting that these images come from are much bigger and in a Wide screen style. To use these for T shirts etc I have cropped the design and modified them from my original paintings.
