Want to go cut a rug down at a place called The Jug? Well, Linda Lou and her gun-happy boyfriend probably won't be there, but an altercation between Ronnie Van Zant and another patron at The Jug Saloon in Jacksonville, Florida, inspired one of Lynyrd Skynyrd's most memorable songs. You can still go grab a beer there, though it's worth noting that it was called the West Tavern when Van Zant had his run-in. The band changed the name of the bar to make it sound cooler and the bar returned the favor a few years ago in a nod to the hit song.

The Nightmare!

Featuring a raccoon, skunk, opossum, and armadillo playing instruments. This image would make a great gift for animal lovers and those who like hillbilly music, jug bands, blue grass, and country. The Roadkill Rebels feature Marvin the Possum, AKA Daddy O’Possum, Jimmy the skunk, Bubba the armadillo, and Reed Raccoon. These animal musicians are hillbilly critters who play the jug, washboard, washtub bass, and banjo.

The painting depicts the ancient Greek God Dionysus holding a jug of red wine. Part of the torso is covered with a red robe. In the background you can see trees, flowers and a pond. This canvas is a mixture of several artistic styles at once. The main idea is to combine classical art and modern conceptual style.
