I've made a few other works inspired by MitHC, and whilst I find others a lot more inspirational, this one conveys a passive strength that the others lack in their belligerence. It is quietly powerful, its warmth deceiving. A setting sun in opposition to the Empire of the Rising Sun?

The Nexus-6 were a series of replicants developed by Eldon Tyrell and his genetic design team to be more human than all previous Nexus models. The Nexus-6 was produced by 2018, when a group of combat model Nexus-6 replicants staged a mutiny in the Off-world colonies. This event prompted replicants as a whole to be prohibited on Earth. The following year, a group of Nexus-6 replicants led by Roy Batty hijacked a transport and went to Earth in search of a way to extend their lifespans.

Inspired by the Man in the High Castle, a symbol of resistance against the Kempeitai and the Japanese Occupation of the West Coast of the USA. I've made a few other works inspired by MitHC. This one is a reimagining of graffiti spotted throughout San Francisco, and probably the rest of the Japanese Pacific States. The sinister silhouette of a man wearing a black fedora is seemingly vandalized by a red symbol. Who is the shadowy figure? Is it an allegorical kempeitai officer? Is it the Man in the High Castle himself?
