Every year the picturesque Oxfordshire village of East Hagbourne goes completely scarecrow mad! Here I challenged myself to sketch all 33 across a weekend. Ten minutes a sketch. Five drawing, five colouring. What's not to love!

The Falls of Dochart on the River Dochart on the outskirts of Killin Village. The River Dochard runs into Loch Tay just beyond the village. The picturesque village of Killin nestles amidst spectacular Highland scenery, in the Stirling district of Scotland at the heart of the Scottish Highlands. This canal barge can be found in a man made loch on the Auchlochan Estate in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It can not go anywhere other than circle around the small loch, so in reality, it is an art object. Auchlochan is a purpose build Retirement Village and Elderly Care Home. It has lovely gardens and several man made small lochs. Auchlochan means (the) ‘Field of the small loch’. The current lochs at Auchlochan are man made and no one knows where the original loch was. Some believe it was a reference to the River Nethan which meanders through the estate. Three bracketed JPGs converted to HDR in Photomatix Pro.

A quiet backwater at Goring on Thames, Oxfordshire. Here the water is calm having rushed through the mill and now makes its way back to the main river. On the far bank is the church of St Thomas of Canterbury. Goring is a small village on the north bank of the Thames and is joined to Streatley on the south bank by an attractive road bridge. Here the river runs through the Goring Gap between the Chiltern Hills and the North Wessex Downs.The house in the background belonged to George Michael' Nikon D7100 Nikkor 18-200

Boathouses on the banks of the River Thames at Goring opposite the lock and just upstream from the old mill. Goring is an extremely picturesque village on the north bank of the Thames in Oxfordshire, just across the river from Streatley in Berkshire. Here the river flows through the Goring Gap between the Chiltern Hills in the north and the Berkshire or North Wessex Downs in the south. Goring has been the haunt of artists including JMW Turner. The church of St Mary the Virgin, the parish church of Bucklebury in Berkshire, England. Sitting in the centre of the village near the River Pang, the church dates from the 11th century and has a fine Norman doorway.The Perpendicular period bell tower was built in the 15th century.

Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and is considered a sacred symbol in Japanese culture. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered a symbol of Japan's natural beauty. It is also an active volcano and has erupted several times in the past. The mountain also has significant cultural and religious significance for Japanese people, being an object of worship and pilgrimage for centuries. Many artists, poets, and authors have been inspired by Mount Fuji and its beauty and it has been depicted in various forms of art throughout Japanese history.
