Flying Hawk (Oglala Lakota: Čhetáŋ Kiŋyáŋ in Standard Lakota Orthography; a/k/a Moses Flying Hawk; March 1854 – December 24, 1931) was an Oglala Lakota warrior, historian, educator and philosopher. Laban Little Wolf was a nephew of the Cheyenne old man chief, Little Wolf. Little Wolf was one of the leaders when the Cheyennes returned north from Oklahoma in 1879. Little Wolf had given his nephew his name following an early battle with the Shoshone.
