“I Live Under The Stars” 2020, is originally Acrylic on Canvas. Canadian Caribou have been classified as "vulnerable" in 2015 due to an observed population decline of 40 per cent over the last 25 years. Most of the decline has been blamed on human activity that has destroyed habitat and pushed them to the brink of extinction. When I paint I often am inspired by the beauty of our Distinctly Canadian Wildlife with an emphasis on endangered species that once were plentiful on this continent.
