I was on a trip to walk some of the North Norfolk Coast, and on this day strode along the beach between Sheringham and Cromer at low tide. The sky was moody and a stiff cold wind was blowing when I took the picture of Cromer from West Runton. I thought it suited pastels best, and so I produced this A4 image on black card in pastel. Looking into the town of Cromer from the Pier

Cromer Pier, Norfolk, UK An aerial view of this amazing pier sat in the North Sea in Cromer on the East coastline of the UK. Cromer Pier is a Grade II listed seaside pier in the civil parish of Cromer on the north coast of the English county of Norfolk, 25 miles due north of the city of Norwich in the United Kingdom. The pier is the home of the Cromer Lifeboat Station and the Pavilion Theatre. I know the sea does not look very inviting but the colour is mainly down to the fine sand and a bit of silt but on a nice sunny day the blue reflects from the sky and makes it look a lot more appealing.
