It was a cool, clear morn with a slight breeze that drifted ever so gently across the waters. A distant range of snow-capped mountaintops undulated and swelled like a line of long lost fairytale sandcastles. Princess Catherine ( the queen of the bees) gave us a warm welcome. No longer did she look at all like a bee. Her hair was now a golden honey that glistened spectacularly in the sunlight. Art by Duy Truong.................This is our first drawing in book seven of our Wurtherington Diary Series." Buffalo Bill and the Indians." Mark said he wanted to show me some magic tricks. I met him in his bedroom where he had it all set up. Of course I brought Cedric, Zeke, and Polly with me. He had a little stage set up and a banner that read, Mark the Magnificent. We all took a seat and he was quite amazing with the illusions. He was very insistent that he be called an illusionist which is a step up from being a magician. He did card tricks, mind reading, and then escaped from a pair of handcuffs. He saved his best trick for last when he disappeared in a puff of smoke and then walked in behind us through the door!

Art by Nour Hassan and Duy Truong This is a scene from the "Wurtherington Diary." The creature said, "I am an opossum, sir and I am known as Zeke, far and wide." I offered my hand and he licked it. "No, I wish to make you my friend and if you shake my hand we will be friends." I showed him how to do it properly. I told myself that I must remember that Zeke was a mammal and not a human and would not have any understanding of human nature. It was not that easy to do, as up until yesterday, anyone who talked to me was a human. Now I find myself talking to a mouse, an octopus, and now an opossum. I reminded myself that Kira was a strange land and it was my duty to learn the customs if I was going to be of any help at all.

She hummed as she picked," La la la la, la la. I pick flowers for my mama." I could see she was as ugly as the rest, covered with hair like that.
