Sycamore Tree Under a Blue Moon, Digital Collage by Conni Schaftenaar Yesterday I saw this almost bare sycamore tree at the edge of a field of soybeans as I was coming home. I passed it, and my mind tickled me, so I turned around and went back and captured some photos of it. It was a beautiful sunny day, so the sky was basically pale blues with some clouds behind it. I had been trying to figure out an image to do as a watercolor batik involving trees - had been thinking of birches. This tree grabbed me and I thought maybe THIS is my batik tree.
