An ode to one light towns located in Michigan's Thumb

I drew this piece while out with my husband getting ramen at a very artsy Ramen Shop called Hot Joy in Southtown which is a fairly large art district of San Antonio, Texas. The restaurant had these gorgeous lamps above and around our table that I found very inspiring to paint. The ramen, by the way, is amazing. If you are in the area, check the place out. You will not be disappointed! My original piece was created with gouache paints on mixed media paper. The size is 11" x 14".

The building is intact, but it's been a couple of bike shops and a couple of coffee shops since.
