Hens In My orange Grove Magnet

Hens in my orange grove. Because Spain is in lockdown now I have to find the inspiration and subjects for my paintings in the land and garden of my cortijo in La Alpujarra Almeriense, Almeria, Southern Spain. My chickens spend their day freely pecking around under my orange and olive trees. I included the old wheelbarrow and spade to complete the story in this watercolour and add a contrast to the colours and textures of the chickens and orange tree.
