Feathery flannel flower ... real close Magnet

This is the Lesser Flannel Flower ... aka Actinotus minor. Photographed with a Canon 400D & a Tamron macro lens. This photo was taken in the Georges River National Park in the southern area of Sydney, Australia. It is so small that I never had a close look at it before this photo was taken. Given that this flower is about 1 cm in diameter, I'm surprised that I managed to get this one reasonably focussed. I cropped this from the previous uploaded shot of the flannel flower. My macro lens wouldn't let me get this close. The feathery petals amaze me.
