Stavanger Quayside Magnet

The quayside scene at the port of Stavanger in Norway. This is the fourth largest city in the country and has a history stretching way back to medieval times. Starting life as a village it grew into a fishing port. It was the discovery of offshore oil and gas that made it grow into the major port it is today. The old town and its harbour has old, colourful houses and quayside buildings, the city itself having an eclectic mix of old and new, This image has been finished as coloured pencil art.
