Washington Commanders 1932 American Flag Football

The Texas Fuel Company was founded in 1902 in Beaumont, Texas, by Joseph S. Cullinan, Thomas J. Donoghue, and Arnold Schlaet upon the discovery of oil at Spindletop. The company was not set up to drill wells or to produce crude oil, so Cullinan organized Producers Oil Company in 1902, as a group of affiliated investors to fund the needed infrastructure. With their wells running at full tilt, Texas Fuel opened their own service stations featuring their own gasoline. In 1932, they introduced high performance Fire Chief Gasoline, followed by Sky Chief Gasoline in 1938, as some of the first higher-octane fuel options.

The Great Emu War was an unsuccessful 1932 military operation undertaken in Western Australia. Soldiers were armed with Lewis machine guns in an attempt to curb the population of the emus, but while a number of the birds were killed, the emus proved too smart and agile for the humans, and the birds emerged victorious. Emus remain plentiful in the areas outside of Perth to this day.

The Death Kiss is a 1932 American pre-Code mystery film starring David Manners as a crusading studio writer, Adrienne Ames as an actress, and Bela Lugosi as a studio manager. The thriller features three leading players from the previous year's Dracula (Lugosi, Manners, and Edward Van Sloan), and was the first film directed by Edwin L. Marin. The film was produced by KBS Productions at Tiffany Pictures and released by Sono Art-World Wide Pictures. The film is currently in the public domain.

White Zombie is a 1932 American pre-Code horror film independently produced by Edward Halperin and directed by Victor Halperin. The screenplay by Garnett Weston, based on The Magic Island by William Seabrook, is about a young woman's transformation into a zombie at the hands of an evil voodoo master. Bela Lugosi stars as the zombie master "Murder" Legendre, with Madge Bellamy appearing as his victim. Other cast members include Joseph Cawthorn, Robert W. Frazer, John Harron, Brandon Hurst and George Burr MacAnnan.[6][7] Large portions of White Zombie were shot on the Universal Studios lot, borrowing many props and scenery from other horror films of the era.

While other trucking companies were constantly trying to expand their operating authority, Be-Mac focused on maintaining their strong north/south Midwestern route throughout the life of the company. From their centrally located St. Louis headquarters, Be-Mac's route went as far south as Dallas, Texas, and as far north as Grand Rapids, Michigan with a number of company terminals along the way.

GDSF 2015 - Sentinel Steam Bus 'Martha' Number of views as of 17th April 2018 = 480. Built in 1932 (presumably at the Sentinel Waggon Works in Shrewsbury, England), this vehicle was originally a flatbed steam lorry. First purchased by the Cardiff Gas Light & Coke Company, it later worked in Ireland for 10 years and was transported back to England in the 1970s. Thirty years on, its owners at the time decided to convert the vehicle into a bus and obtained approval from the Ministry of Transport to carry fare-paying passengers, which it has been doing since 2005.
