“Adobe Benches" is an art print I created using a traditional watercolor technique. This technique uses subtle colors and brush strokes creating a warm traditional look. The viewpoint of the art print is looking at the covered porch with benches inviting you to sit and relax. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa in Bernalillo, New Mexico for a few nights in late April. The first evening we ate on one of their patios, next to this delightful fireplace. It was chilly and the fire was appreciated!

Adobe

Alamo Adobe is a sepia tone photographic art print. I used a sepia tone finish on the photograph for that old rustic look. The setting is a building in the Alamo compound. The Alamo is right off the River Walk in San Antonio, Texas. I hadn't been there since I was a kid and looked at it from a totally different perspective. As a photographer, I love the adobe architecture of that period and thought this structure would make an interesting shot.

On the grounds of the Alamo are many buildings making up the complex. This old adobe sits at the end of a garden in a back corner.
