Description: It represents the concept of eternal life, which is the general meaning of the symbol. [1][citation needed] The Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest. The ankh appears in hand or in proximity of almost every deity in the Egyptian pantheon (including Pharaohs). Thus it is fairly and widely understood as a symbol of early religious pluralism: all sects believed in a common story of eternal life, and this is the literal meaning of the symbol. This rationale contributed to the adoption of the ankh by New Age mysticism in the 1960s, to mean essentially the same tolerance of diversity of belief and common ethics as in Ancient Egypt.

Description: I can never get enough of Sphynx cat designs, this time I added some more eyes, a black Sphynx to contrast the white one. I also added a black and a white crescent moon and some geometrical shapes. One cat has an Ankh on her forehead and the other one a Leviathan cross. Ankh, the Crux Ansata, is a symbol of life and immortality. Leviathan cross was a symbol for sulfur and it was later adopted by Anton LaVey and became a satanist symbol. I do not know why I added the extra eyes on the kitties, but it looks kinda appropriate.
Description: This Ancient Egyptian inspired design by artist Jeff Bartels features a decorative scarab beetle with large wings. Two oval disks appear at the top and bottom of the pattern with a small ankh symbol in the center of the upper plate. The symmetrical design is decorated with intricate dots and lines which gives the pattern a sophisticated feel. The design is finished with rough textures and natural colors which gives this stylish Egyptian symbol a unique look.

Description: This ancient Egyptian hieroglyph means life or living. Over time the ankh has come to symbolize eternal life and immortality to people from many walks of life. In ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, the gods are always seen carrying an ankh, making it a symbol of divinity. This symbol is also chosen by some who wish to show that they have spiritual beliefs rather than beliefs belonging to one specific religion. The Ankh is also known as the Egyptian Cross, or by its Latin name, crux ansata, which translates to 'cross with a handle.'
