Inspired by the current DND campaign I'm playing through, something about the landscape of the ravenloft realm really strikes me.

Most epic fantasy games start in a tavern and devolve into sitcom chaos eventually. Why not lean into it with this nod to dungeons, dragons, and milk steak. Show Strahd that you're the wildcard as the gang wanders into the mist.

This village is lifeless, soulless even. The people here are zombified, and the zombies are even worse.

Made a parallel while playing Curse of Strahd that now lives rent-free in my head.
