Blood Type Magnets
Description: A wild-haired cartoon rider throws both arms up and screams with equal parts joy and panic as the coaster climbs and plunges along a track shaped like a glucose graph, proudly holding a season pass. Made for type 1 diabetics, CGM wearers, and anyone who has watched their numbers spike and drop like a theme park ride. A funny diabetes awareness gift for T1D friends and family, diaversaries, theme park trips, and Diabetes Awareness Month.
Description: This design expresses the struggle between insulin and blood sugar. For those of you who don't know about Type 1 Diabetes; keeping the right balance between blood sugar and the right amount of insulin is a real struggle. >High blood sugar leads to a build up of ketones which causes ketoacidosis and leads to illness and death. >Low blood sugar could lead to unconsciousness, coma, and death. Crosby was diagnosed at 2 1/2 years old. He is the inspiration for this Teepublic shop. The profit from his shop goes to his treatment and overall health.
