Description: Dah Shinin’ is the classic 1995 debut album from Brooklyn duo Smif-N-Wessun, Tek and Steele. Released through Wreck/Nervous Records, the album became one of the defining records of the mid-’90s New York underground Hip-Hop movement and a cornerstone of the Boot Camp Clik sound. Produced largely by Da Beatminerz, Dah Shinin’ is packed with dark, gritty sample-based production, heavy drums, jazz and soul textures, and raw street-centered lyricism.
