Cantinflas (real name Mario Moreno) was a Mexican comedic actor widely known for his character, El pelado, an impoverished everyman who would rely on his words to get out of difficult situations. His manner of speech was so popular that it was added as verb in the Spanish dictionary "Cantinfleando", meaning "saying a lot but having no point".
