Description: Famous postcard of Rio de Janeiro, the border of Copacabana acquired the present form in the decade of 70. The landscape design was designed by Burle Marx, who introduced a beautiful mosaic of abstract geometric shapes in Portuguese stone on the sidewalk next to the buildings and on the central bed. The design can be appreciated both at the pedestrian level and from above, from the windows of the apartments on the waterfront. The design, in Portuguese black and white stone, represents the waves of the beach. It already existed in the sidewalk of the beach and has its origin in Portugal, in the Rossio Square of Lisbon.
