In the neighborhood of the old tanneries in Chania town (Crete island, Greece) called "Tabakaria" you will find a beautiful restaurant called "Thalassino Ageri" (it means "Sea breeze"). Having dinner surrounded by old industrial wrecks, might not sound like a very romantic choice, but, believe, once you get there you 'll change your mind! Not to mention the excellent sea food!

A charming town, Chania sits in the northwest part of the island of Crete, the largest of the Greek islands. The small, winding streets that make up the old town begin at the old, Venetian harbor. This way you can also visit the tiny island on the left part of the picture, where you can visit a Venetian Castle and a shipwreck.
