This was inspired by the 1984 coming of age, cult classic, The Karate Kid. This illustration was inspired from a scene in the 1984 cult classic film, The Karate Kid. Original fans of the film will always remember these boys as bullies but a generation has passed and now the lines are blurring. Were they bullies? or were they just being boys?

I was inspired to create this graphic from the Karate Kid movies that I watched growing up in the 80s.

This design was inspired by the rivaling philosophies of Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai Karate practices from the 1984 coming of age cult classic, The Karate Kid. The characters, Mr. Miyagi and Daniel LaRusso representing Miyagi-Do and John Kreese and Johnny Lawrence representing Cobra Kai. Each have their beneficial and strong points. Which side are you?

The rivalry between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence all started because of a girl, and she is Ali Mills.

Dutch is a member of the Cobra Kai and a straight up bully. At the All Valley Karate Championships in 1984, he tried to best Daniel LaRusso with some pre-fight intimidation tactics in the locker room, however, it all backfired in the end.

Daniel used an illegal kick, therefor he cheated and Johnny should have won.

I was inspired to create this graphic design because I grew up in the 1980s watching The Karate Kid movies all the time.

With Mr. Miyagi's wisdom, Daniel and Kumiko becomes an item.

He helps his uncle run the chain of karate dojos in Okinawa and is also an enforcer to collect and cheat from local farmers. The summer of 1986, he will meet his rival, a young man from New Jersey who will snatch his honor from him.
