Devon Hams Magnets

Kingswear is a village and civil parish in the South Hams area of the English county of Devon. The village is located on the east bank of the tidal River Dart, close to the river's mouth and opposite the small town of Dartmouth.

A stunning summers day view of the River Dart Estuary overlooking Kingswear from the Dartmouth side of the River. The view was taken high up on the South West Coast path.

Dartmouth is a beautiful little town in the South Hams area of Devon (UK). It sits on the river Dart (which is a ria - or drowned river valley), close to its mouth. It has a rich sailing heritage and many fine old buildings. This view shows the little harbour in the centre of the town with a couple of canoeists enjoying high tide. I've painted this in oil on a 20x16 inch board

The Great Mew Stone is a triangular island in Wembury Bay on the south coast of Devon near Plymouth and close to the village of Wembury.

Dittisham Number of views as of 25th July 2017 = 800. This is the picturesque village of Dittisham, in South Devon (England), 2 miles upstream of Dartmouth on the River Dart. This shot of Dittisham was taken from the Greenway Estate, former holiday home of the late, great crime writer Agatha Christie. A small ferry carries pedestrians across the river from Dittisham to Greenway Quay, on the Greenway Estate. Date: 19th March 2011.
