Flerovium Magnets

Fl is the periodic table element symbol for the radioactive element flerovium.

The orbitals are swirling in Storistir to make holiday ornaments! Scientists were hoping to create an isotope of Flerovium within the theoretical island of stability with a half life of thousands of years. However, the making of this isotope has been illusive so far.

Flerovium has a "long" half-life of 30 seconds. Scientists were hoping to find an "island of stability" isotope so transfermium elements could last long enough to be studied better.
