Description: The Augustiner Brewery was first mentioned by name in 1328, established within an Augustianian Monastery which had been settled just outside the Munich city walls in an area called Haberfeld (or Haferfeld – "oat field") in 1294. The Monastery complex was the largest sacred building in Munich until the completion of the Frauenkirche cathedral in 1494. The Augustinian monks supplied beer to the Bavarian Royal Wittelsbach family until 1589, at which time the Hofbräu brewery was founded.

Description: Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu GmbH is a brewery in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It is part of the Belgian-American company Anheuser-Busch InBev. Its products are beers of the brands Spaten and Franziskaner. In 1397, the Welser Prew was alluded to for the first time in Munich. The ownership changed often until 1854, when the brewery moved to the location it still uses today. In 1867, it became the largest brewery in town, and in 1909 began to deliver beer to North America.
Description: Feldschlößchen or Feldschlösschen can refer to two different brands of beer, produced in breweries located in Dresden, Germany and Rheinfelden, Switzerland. The latter is the biggest brewery in Switzerland and was founded in 1876. It bought out Cardinal in 1991. It was bought by Carlsberg in 2000. The brewery is in the shape of a castle and Feldschlösschen means 'small castle in the fields' in German.

Early items can still be valuable as can rarer types of items. As a Pre-Prohibition Brewery, any advertising items or collectibles are likely to be valuable and desirable to collectors as they tend to be hard to find. Phillip Jung Brewing Co was in an active brewing city. Milwaukee, WI was listed as having 74 breweries, which is quite a few. Sometimes a large number of breweries can lead to an active collecting community that will be willing to pay more for breweriana items than other collectors.
Description: Riegele is a traditional German brewery located in Augsburg, Swabia, Bavaria. The Brauhaus Riegele was created in 1884, when Sebastian Riegele Sr. acquired the brewery "Zum Goldenen Ross", which originated in 1386. In 1911, a new building was built outside the city as well as the construction of the "Riegelehaus" on the Königsplatz. At the end of the 1980s, the Brauhaus acquired the name rights for the lactic acid-based lemonade "Chabeso".
Description: Karlsberg is one of the largest breweries in Germany; the Karlsberg Group also owns various other beer brands. It is called Karlsbräu outside of Germany to differentiate it from the Danish brewing company Carlsberg. Established 1878 in the town of Homburg, Saarland (then part of Bavaria), the brewery was named after the nearby hill and castle. Karlsberg's ownership has been handed down through generations. The current owner, Richard Weber, is the great-grandson of the brewery's founder.
