Description: The Davis–Besse Nuclear Power Station, located on the shores of Lake Erie in Oak Harbor, Ohio, began operation in 1978 as a key part of the region’s growing demand for reliable electricity. Named after Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company chairman John K. Davis and FirstEnergy executive Ralph M.
