My take on Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein with the Cereal Monsters

Creepshow is a 1982 anthology horror film directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King . Consists of 5 "Jolting Tales of Horror" shorts: "Father's Day", "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill", "Something to Tide You Over", "The Crate", and "They're Creeping Up On You". Everything is linked together with animated segments and the situation of a little boy (played by Stephen King's own son, Joe King) who is a fan of the fictional comic book entitled "Creepshow". This film is a homage to 1950s EC Comics such as " " & " The Haunt of Fear ".

Five tales of terror are presented. The first deals with a demented old man returning from the grave to get the Father's Day cake his murdering daughter never gave him. The second is about a not-too-bright farmer discovering a meteor that turns everything into plant-life. The third is about a vengeful husband burying his wife and her lover up to their necks on the beach. The fourth is about a creature that resides in a crate under the steps of a college. The final story is about an ultra-rich businessman who gets his comeuppance from cockroaches.
