Tally-ho is the traditional cry made by the huntsman to tell others the quarry has been sighted. It was also used by Royal Air Force fighter pilots in the Second World War to tell their controller they were about to engage enemy aircraft.

Royal AIr Force Hurricane P3700 coded RF-E tustles with a Luftwaffe BF 109 over Southern England. Sgt Kazimierz Wunsche bailed out over Poynings, Kent on 9th September 1940 after sustaining damage from a Bf 109 during combat over Beachy Head.

No. 302 'City of Poznan' Polish Fighter Squadron was one of several Polish Squadrons to fight alongside the RAF during WWII & the Battle of Britain. Flying the Hawker Hurricane & Supermarine Spitfire, brave Polish Pilots and Aircrew played a vital role in WWII. We've recreated 302's Emblem using archive photos, and added lots of details, including hand-drawn 1940s Lettering.
