Description: I remember sitting in detention one Saturday morning eating my bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast club sandwich when I noticed that girl from Mr. Vernon's class sitting across from me. She looked so pretty in pink jeans and a gym t-shirt, I couldn't help but stare at her. I've been crushing on her for a long time. I was trying to think of a way to start talking to her when I saw her messing around with these sixteen candles and I whispered over to her and asked her if she was using them for that weird science project that we had due on Monday. She smiled and nodded and whispered back "Can you help me?" as she motioned for me to come sit next to her. It was a perfect day, and I think of it every time I see that old gym shirt.
