La Tene Magnets

A design I created from an ancient bronze age mirror.

This design is based off of a panel from the famous Gundestrup Cauldron. The scene depicts the god-- often identified as Cernunnos-- surrounded by animals. I've recreated this design in my own style making a unique take on this Celtic/La Tene piece of art!

My take on a traditional design and published in my book The Crafter's Design Library Celtic in 2003.

This is an example of La Téne Celtic art which pre-dates the more commonly known knotwork and primarily found on metal objects. It is a simple image with a lot of impact.
