Description: In 1993 Lorena Bobbitt cut off her husband's, John Bobbitt, member while he was passed out from drinking. Lorena pleaded not guilty by reason of temporary insanity. In 1994 Lorena was found not guilty on the charge of malicious wounding. She spent 45 days in a psychiatric facility before being released. Lorena went on to remarry and start a family. She started The Lorena Gallo Foundation with the mission "to expand domestic violence and sexual assault prevention education, emergency response resources and community engagement activities that will improve outcomes for survivors and their children." John Bobbitt went on to have two more failed marriages, multiple domestic battery charges, he served time in jail. He's currently single
