I said, "Turn around three times and close your eyes And soon you will be close to the skies. Make that which was small, Grow and be so very tall. Alakazim, Alakazam!" She did the turnaround and Polly became as large as ever. We hopped on Polly and flew high overhead and followed the road. We could see a quintet of bandits robbing the stage and running off with the strong box. We circled a few times as I wanted see where they were going.

It was a cool, clear morn with a slight breeze that drifted ever so gently across the waters. A distant range of snow-capped mountaintops undulated and swelled like a line of long lost fairytale sandcastles. Princess Catherine ( the queen of the bees) gave us a warm welcome. No longer did she look at all like a bee. Her hair was now a golden honey that glistened spectacularly in the sunlight. I met him in his bedroom where he had it all set up. Of course I brought Cedric, Zeke, and Polly with me. He had a little stage set up and a banner that read, Mark the Magnificent. We all took a seat and he was quite amazing with the illusions. He was very insistent that he be called an illusionist which is a step up from being a magician. He did card tricks, mind reading, and then escaped from a pair of handcuffs. He saved his best trick for last when he disappeared in a puff of smoke and then walked in behind us through the door!

'Sentinel' is a photo-realistic, original, graphite pencil drawing depicting a meerkat apparently on sentry duty. I've never drawn one of these cute little Southern African mongooses before but was lucky enough to come across a wonderful reference photograph to use, which convinced me it was about time I did. I've kept the composition simple and uncluttered to give a sense of height and space.

"No, I wish to make you my friend and if you shake my hand we will be friends." I showed him how to do it properly. I told myself that I must remember that Zeke was a mammal and not a human and would not have any understanding of human nature. It was not that easy to do, as up until yesterday, anyone who talked to me was a human. Now I find myself talking to a mouse, an octopus, and now an opossum. I reminded myself that Kira was a strange land and it was my duty to learn the customs if I was going to be of any help at all.

He growled, "Drop'm now or make your move." Onlookers held their breath as they ducked for cover behind barrels that lined the boardwalk. The trio pulled their weapons from the holsters and sent bullets flying toward us. Mad Dog Zeke and Rattlesnake Cedric ricocheted the flurry of bullets off the skillets. Guns flew from the trio's bloodied hands as their own bullets found fresh targets. I kicked their guns aside as they stood holding their mangled hands. I said, "Turn around, boys. The driver and guard shook our hands and we quickly became acquainted. We decided to tie the bandits to their horses and turn them over to the law in Lexington. Cedric, Zeke, and Polly flew alongside to make sure nothing went wrong. Alfred and I hopped aboard the stage with the passengers.
