Myna Magnets
Description: A beautiful Bali Myna captured in a lush tropical setting and enhanced with a soft painting effect. The elegant white plumage, vivid blue facial markings, dark wing details, and delicate crest create a striking wildlife portrait with an artistic finish. Also known as the Bali starling, this rare Indonesian bird is admired for its graceful appearance and connection to the natural beauty of Bali. A distinctive design for birdwatchers, tropical bird enthusiasts, wildlife lovers, and admirers of Indonesian nature and exotic avian art.
Description: The common myna/Indian mynah (Acridotheres tristis), sometimes spelled mynah, also sometimes known as "Indian myna", is a member of the family Sturnidae (starlings and mynas) native to Asia. An omnivorous open woodland bird with a strong territorial instinct, the myna has adapted extremely well to urban environments.
Description: Colourful animal illustration of a Bali starling. This ink drawing was created by hand using pigma micron marker pens. I then added colour with alcohol marker pens. Bali starling, or Bali myna (Leucopsar rothschildi) are a critically endangered species of bird found only on the island of Bali. These small birds are almost white all over with a crest of feathers on their head. The skin around their eye is a vibrant blue and they have a pop of yellow on their bills.
