This is a wonderful woodland walk, which follows the Hareshaw Dene up to The Linn, a 30-ft waterfall. (Linn is the old English for waterfall). During the first part of the walk you pass through the spoil heaps of the iron works before entering the woodland section which has been enjoyed by the locals since the end of the 19th century. A wide range of fauna and wildlife is around you all the time, so it is certainly not a walk to be rushed.

Watermouth is a sheltered bay and hamlet between Hele Bay and Combe Martin on the North Devon coast of England.

Vintage Honduras Country Flag

St Margaret's in Burnham Norton (apparently meaning North Town) is one of the round towered churches typical of Norfolk. It is one of the six surviving medieval churches in the Burnham area, the round tower displaying much of its Norman origins. In the churchyard is buried Richard Woodget, master of the sailing clipper Cutty Sark which can be seen at Greenwich, London. Burnham Norton is not far from the market town of Burnham Market and is only a short distance - about half a mile - from the sea which played an important role in its life. Nikon D200 Nikkor 18-200
