An image of Notre Dame taken on an early morning stroll through the heart of the city. This particular vantage point was shot from the entrance to a little park behind the cathedral known as Square Jean XXIII. If anyone is interested, I have many images of Notre Dame in my Paris portfolio (all taken from an earlier trip back in 2013). Newer images from my most recent trip will be posted at a later date. All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II (crop frame) using a variety of Canon L-Series lenses, and Tamron and Sigma pro-line lenses; processed in RAW with ACR, PSC, Photomatix, and a variety of other imaging software. Notre Dame Cathedral Study 4

Looking along th River Seine to the magnificent cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris before the fire in August 2019. This image has been given an art finish. Work starting on its construction in 1150 and It was completed in 1260 but was added to over succeeding centuries. It was badly damaged during the French Revolution and then, during renovation work in 2019 was extremely seriously damaged when it caught fire but hopefully reconstruction will be successful and it will stand proudly once more.

What do you get when you mash up hot rods and monsters? In 1980, the answer would have been Weird Wheels trading card stickers. Featuring a checklist of colorful creations along the lines of the late '60s Odd Rods cards, the set blends Kustom Kulture with matinée horror. The cards themselves have monsters and other creatures driving absurdly customized cars, trucks, and motorcycles. As cool as the cards looked, they came out at a time when the Kustom Kulture was well past its peak, and the set flopped, but that doesn't mean they're still not cool! This one features the 'Hunchback of Notre Drag' in his hot rodded 2CV from card #1.

Jason Kidd is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Regarded as one of the greatest point guards and passers of all time, Kidd was a 10-time NBA All-Star, a five-time All-NBA First Team member, and a nine-time NBA All-Defensive Team member. He won an NBA championship in 2011 as a member of the Dallas Mavericks and was a two-time gold medal winner in the Olympics with the U.S. national team in 2000 and 2008. In October 2021, Kidd was honored as one of the league's greatest players of all time by being named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
