The Quincy, M.E. T-Shirt celebrates the classic TV series of the 70's and 80's starring Jack Klugman as the irascible Dr R. Quincy, the chief Medical Examiner for the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office. Loosely based on renowned LA coroner Thomas Noguchi, famed for performing autopsies on Marilyn Monroe, Robert F. Kennedy, Sharon Tate, Gia Scala, William Holden, Natalie Wood, and John Belushi, Quincy laid the groundwork for many future shows that focussed on forensic science as a method of solving crime.
