In its day, and prior to the 'modifications' made by Parliamentary forces during the English Civil War, Raglan was considered to be one of the finest castles in Britain. The Union Jack is flying at half mast following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Date: 6th September 2022.
