Mambo's Restaurant and Rooftop Bar Bourbon Street by Debra Martz I enjoyed an early morning walk on Bourbon Street and other French Quarter Streets nearby while there were no crowds. While on this stroll, I took pictures of my favorite signs and several are places I actually went to later. AND, Mambo's served up some great gumbo and char-grilled oysters! YUM! Many a times in photography the saying "less is more" needs to be applied and understood. And often times simple images can be very difficult to compose and convey a message. This image is an example; taken from the rooftop of the visitor center at Multnomah Falls in Oregon. All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II (crop frame) using a variety of Canon L-Series lenses, and Tamron and Sigma pro-line lenses; processed in RAW with ACR, PSC, Photomatix, and a variety of other imaging software.
